Qualifikationen

• Must hold NREMT Paramedic certification.
• Current Alabama EMT-P license.
• High school diploma or GED (additional education is a plus).
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• BLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications are required.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate each call to identify the most suitable course of action.
• Provide BLS and ALS care per Alabama State Protocols and perform required reports.
• Ensure on-scene leadership and effective communication with patients, families and other responders.
• Drive and operate ambulance safely, maintain readiness and assist with billing and documentation.
• Stay current with required certifications and compliance with policies and procedures.
