Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd in Rome, GA seeks an EMT-Paramedic to provide patient care and data collection according to clinical practice standards within Floyd EMS Ambulance Services.

You will work full-time, 40 hours per week, with pay ranging $24.10 to $36.15 per hour. The role requires active EMS Paramedic license, BCLS certification, and ongoing professional development to deliver age-appropriate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of EMT-Paramedic.
• Current state EMS Paramedic license.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record per facility policy.
• BCLS certification required annually.
• ACLS certification encouraged.
• Certification in a related specialty encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient health data and identify expected outcomes.
• Implement interventions per plan of care and evaluate progress.
• Interact with family and interdisciplinary team to maximize care quality.
• Address adolescent, adult and geriatric patient needs as a clinical resource.
