WLRC seeks a Paramedic to provide advanced prehospital care in Hughesville, MD. The EMT-P will perform ALS duties, drive emergency vehicles, and coordinate with dispatch and hospitals to ensure rapid, high-quality patient care during transport.

Requirements include MD EMT-Paramedic certification, Maryland driver’s license, ACLS, and availability for recall. This is a full-time on-site position with responsibility for maintaining equipment and documentation.

Qualificações

• Must be currently State and/or Nationally registered as EMT-Paramedic.
• Must possess a current Maryland State driver’s license.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS).
• Full-time employees must be available for recall in times of crisis.
• Must be at least 21 years old or older at the time of hire for insurance purposes

Responsabilidades

• Conducts careful examination of the patient and assists medical personnel as needed.
• Provides prompt care and stabilization before transport.
• Maintains safe handling of the patient and equipment during transfers.
• Transports patient safely while monitoring condition and providing care.
• Prepares ALS supplies and equipment on arrival to return unit to service.
• Operates EMS vehicles in compliance with company protocols and safety rules.
• Integrates with dispatch and other services; keeps hospital informed of arrivals.
• Documents patient care and maintains accurate records per regulations.
• Upholds professional standards and ethics on and off duty.
