Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Paramedic to work under the supervision of the Medical Transport Supervisor. The role requires knowledge of treatment and stabilization across all age groups and adherence to Georgia Department of Public Health protocols.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and vehicle readiness, completing documentation promptly, and following NGHS policies. Must hold State Paramedic certification with ACLS and PALS, plus BLS and defensive driving.

Qualifications

• State certification as Paramedic and up-to-date ACLS and PALS certifications.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification and Defensive Driving course completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment and stabilization for patients across age groups per state scope of practice.
• Operate emergency vehicle safely and professionally.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel, and stock levels; ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Complete accurate paperwork in a timely manner per NGHS policies.
• Adhere to all NGHS and Medical Transport guidelines and protocols.
