Compensation and Incentives
- $2.00/hr Ambulance Service Differential earned on all hours worked.
- $5.00/hr Night Differential earned on eligible night hours.
- $3.00/hr Weekend Differential earned on eligible weekend hours.
- $2.00/hr Bachelor's or $3.00/hr Master’s Education Differential for approved focus, earned on all hours worked.
- Sign‑on bonus: $4,000–$7,500 based on experience level.
- Relocation bonus: $3,500–$6,000 for qualified candidates.
Work Schedule
Shifts are either (3) 13‑hour shifts or (4) 10‑hour shifts in days, nights, or swings.
Responsibilities
- Provide prehospital 911 emergency care and inter‑facility transportation for injured or ill patients according to ABC EMS Protocols.
- Document and maintain accurate medical records for patient encounters using ImageTrend Elite.
- Operate emergency vehicles safely, consistent with EVOC standards.
- Perform other duties as required to support the team and community.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current New Mexico driver’s license without restrictions within 30 days of hire.
- At least 18 years of age with an insurable driving record per Presbyterian policy.
- New Mexico Paramedic license from the NM EMS Bureau.
- Current ACLS and BLS certification through AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross.
- Completed FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses.
- EMT experience preferred.
- Pass physical abilities assessment.
- Obtain medical examiner and DOT certification as part of onboarding.
- Advanced level Paramedic must have a minimum of 1 year of EMS experience as a licensed Paramedic.
