Compensation and Incentives

• $2.00/hr Ambulance Service Differential earned on all hours worked.
• $5.00/hr Night Differential earned on eligible night hours.
• $3.00/hr Weekend Differential earned on eligible weekend hours.
• $2.00/hr Bachelor's or $3.00/hr Master’s Education Differential for approved focus, earned on all hours worked.
• Sign‑on bonus: $4,000–$7,500 based on experience level.
• Relocation bonus: $3,500–$6,000 for qualified candidates.

Work Schedule

Shifts are either (3) 13‑hour shifts or (4) 10‑hour shifts in days, nights, or swings.

Responsibilities

• Provide prehospital 911 emergency care and inter‑facility transportation for injured or ill patients according to ABC EMS Protocols.
• Document and maintain accurate medical records for patient encounters using ImageTrend Elite.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely, consistent with EVOC standards.
• Perform other duties as required to support the team and community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current New Mexico driver’s license without restrictions within 30 days of hire.
• At least 18 years of age with an insurable driving record per Presbyterian policy.
• New Mexico Paramedic license from the NM EMS Bureau.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification through AHA, ASHI, or Red Cross.
• Completed FEMA 100, 200, 700 courses.
• EMT experience preferred.
• Pass physical abilities assessment.
• Obtain medical examiner and DOT certification as part of onboarding.
• Advanced level Paramedic must have a minimum of 1 year of EMS experience as a licensed Paramedic.
