Job summary

Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc. is seeking qualified paramedics to join our team as 911 responders and inter-facility transport specialists.

You will provide safe, efficient treatment and transportation in trauma, cardiac, and respiratory emergencies, including IVs, medications, and monitoring EKGs. Ideal candidates hold Current Massachusetts Paramedic Certification and National Registry Paramedic Certification, plus CPR and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Paramedic Certification.
• National Registry Paramedic Certification.
• Current CPR and ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in accordance with clinical policies, statewide protocol, and standards of care.
• Attend to patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Operate the ambulance in accordance with safety rules and regulations; company policies; federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and statutes.
• Complete an ambulance and medical equipment checklist at the beginning of each assigned shift. Inspect and clean the assigned ambulance and all medical equipment to ensure compliance with minimum stock requirements and proper function.
• Complete and submit all documentation/paperwork PCR requirements daily.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external individuals, including agencies, physicians, and other healthcare providers at all times.
• Be knowledgeable of and comply with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Must maintain a reliable attendance and reports as scheduled and required
• Completes other duties as requested and assigned
