Job summary

AMR in Yakima, WA is hiring Paramedics who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high‑quality patient care from basic to advanced levels.

You will assess responses, operate defibrillators, monitor EKG, administer oxygen and IV fluids, lead the Paramedic team on scene, and drive the ambulance on 911 calls while coordinating with health and safety personnel. A strong commitment to professionalism and community service is essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P required.
  • State Driver’s License required.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required.
  • Clean driving record per company policy.
  • Pass physical agility test.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.

Paramedic

We’rehiring Paramedics that are passionate about deliveringcompassionate,high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced,patient careto our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess each call situation to determinethebest course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
  • Communicate with patientsand loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as you r fellow Paramedics.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
MinimumRequired Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P
  • State Driver’s License
  • ACLS, PALS
  • Driving record in compliance withcompanypolicy
  • PassPhysical Agility Test
  • Some work experience, preferably in healthcare

Pay Range:

$80,327.94 - $99,204.62/yr DOE (Based on a Full Time, Non-Exempt position working normal schedule)
