Job summary

Action-Ambulanc in Wilmington Division is hiring Parametrics. Full time, Part time and Per Diem openings with a salary range of $32.00-$38.00 per hour.

The role involves providing care according to Statewide Treatment Protocols, checking equipment, maintaining the facility, and handling non-emergency transport. Excellent benefits and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification required.
• State issued driver's license required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Reassuring patients and bystanders by working in a confident, efficient manner.
• Assess, stabilize and treat patients in accordance to MA and Action Ambulance standards.
• Provides communications to various communications centers and notifies receiving facilities when appropriate.
• Avoiding mishandling and undue haste while working expeditiously to accomplish the task.
• Cleans all equipment following appropriate disinfecting procedures
• Decontaminates the interior of the vehicle after transport of patient with contagious infection or hazardous materials exposure.
• Ensures that the ambulance is clean and washed and kept in a neat orderly condition in accordance with local, state or federal regulations.
• Attends refresher and continuing education as required.

General Function:

Paramedics provides care according to the Statewide Treatment Protocols. Paramedics check equipment and supplies and maintain their assigned facility. Also provide non-emergency transportation.

Major Responsibilities
