Rotation; 40 hours weekly

Job Summary

Pre-hospital advanced life support paramedic. $7500 bonus to those who qualify and relocation assistance available.

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatches within defined geographic coverage area, delivering advanced life support services.
• Perform patient assessment, obtain historical data, and convey findings via two‑way communications to the Medical Commander.
• Provide patient care within scope of practice, following regional triage, treatment, and transfer protocols.
• Assume control at the scene, directing primary response personnel.
• Conduct vehicle and equipment surveys at the start and after each patient encounter; maintain operational readiness.
• Perform routine equipment and vehicle checks at shift changes and document properly.
• Complete detailed written reports for each dispatch, patient encounter at destination, and base location.
• Participate in orientation of newly hired personnel and provide preceptorship to students, affiliates, and volunteers.
• Share in housekeeping duties with crew members.
• Actively participate in patient safety improvement and management programs, identifying processes that may lead to errors.
• Co‑ordinate with local Fire and Rescue personnel for joint operations.
• Comply with all organizational and departmental policies, procedures, and patient safety education programs.
