Job summary

AMR in Washington state is hiring Paramedics to deliver compassionate, high-quality care from basic to advanced procedures. The role includes scene leadership, ambulance operation, and collaboration with health and public safety partners.

Minimum requirements include WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P, ACLS/PALS, and a valid driver’s license, plus the ability to pass a physical agility test and relevant healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Valid State Driver's License.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action using Paramedic protocols.

• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determinethebest course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patientsand loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P
• State Driver’s License
• ACLS, PALS
• Driving record in compliance withcompanypolicy
• PassPhysical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare

Pay Range:

$80,327.94 - $99,204.62/yr DOE (Based on a Full Time, Non-Exempt position working normal schedule)
