Job summary

AMR is seeking a Paramedic for a full-time role in Union City, TN. You will perform advanced patient care and lead on-scene operations, following Paramedic protocols. Hourly wages start at $21.50 with DOE.

Responsibilities include emergency assessment, use of defibrillators and EKG monitors, IV therapy, and coordinating with public safety teams during 911 responses.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license and active credentials (BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best course of action per protocol.
• Operate medical equipment including defibrillator, monitor, and IV therapy.
• Lead the Paramedic team on scene and manage unit operations as needed.
• Drive the ambulance for 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel on patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation todeterminethe best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
