Job summary

Aura Health in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Paramedic to deliver high-quality emergency medical care in critical situations.

You will assess scenes, operate ambulances, use defibrillators and IVs, communicate with patients, and lead on-scene teams while coordinating with healthcare and public safety partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• Ambulance Driver's License and Medical Examiners Card required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS required.
• Valid driving record and ability to pass a physical agility test.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine actions per Paramedic protocols.
• Use defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction, and IVs for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead scene and unit management as team leader.
• Operate an ambulance during emergency responses.

• Leading scene and unit management when acting as team leader.
• Operating an ambulance during emergency responses.
• Collaborating professionally with healthcare and public safety teams, and participating in community programs to enhance community relations.

Qualifications Include

• High school diploma or GED
• State Paramedic License
• Ambulance Driver's License and Medical Examiners Card
• State Driver’s License
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS
• Valid driving record and ability to pass a Physical Agility Test
• Healthcare-related work experience preferred
