The role involves driving emergency vehicles, scene management, and community participation to maintain a positive public image.

Qualifications

Qualifications required are a high school diploma or GED, valid State Paramedic License, Ambulance Driver's License, Medical Examiners Card, and State Driver's License. Candidates must hold BLS, ACLS, PALS or equivalent certifications, and pass a physical agility test. Some healthcare experience is preferred. Driving record must meet policy standards.
