Job summary

AMR in Orlando, FL is seeking Paramedics for full-time or part-time positions. We prioritize compassionate, high-quality basic and advanced patient care on every call, with hourly rates starting at $25 and DOE.

As part of the team you will assess call situations, use defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and IV fluids, drive the ambulance on 911 responses, and collaborate with public safety and healthcare colleagues to maintain AMR’s strong community presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS, ACLS and NREMT-Paramedic certifications are required.
• Successful candidates will pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best course of action.
• Utilize Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids to deliver advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
