Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County seeks a paramedic with Tennessee licensure to provide high-quality EMS care in the Nashville area. The role includes responding to emergencies, assessing patients, delivering ALS care, driving ambulances when needed, and maintaining equipment.
Required are a high school diploma, TN Paramedic license, ACLS, and BLTS or PHTLS within six months. Must be at least 21 years old and able to work in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
This position is located with the Nashville Fire Department (NFD) and provides efficient and specialized emergency medical care to the sick, injured, and/or critically ill when required, and during transportation to medical facilities. Performs related duties as required.
High School Diploma or equivalent and a State of Tennessee Paramedic License.
Must meet National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Medical Standards.
Must be twenty one (21) years of age.
FAILURE TO MAINTAIN LICENSE OR CERTIFICATIONS WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION.
