Job summary

AMR in Burlingame, CA is hiring Paramedics for full-time roles with immediate start and a $10K sign-on bonus with commitment.

Paramedics will provide both basic and advanced patient care on 911 responses, drive the ambulance, and lead scenes when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License and Ambulance Driver's License are required.
• Medical Examiners Card and State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS certifications required (PHTLS by 1.1.25).
• Driving record must be in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test is required.
• Some healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Use Paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team lead and drive ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel; engage in community programs.

PARAMEDIC

We’re hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced, patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.

• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:
