Job summary

HealthWorks Medical, LLC is seeking a Paramedic to join our Occupational Medicine team. The ideal candidate has critical care and occupational health experience, with current KY paramedic licensure and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities include emergency and non-emergency care, examinations for leave and fitness for duty, and testing such as audiometric and pulmonary function assessments. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring patient care in a workplace setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Occupational health care experience preferred.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency and Non-Emergency Medical Care.
• Process medical absences and return to work.
• Open, extend and close medical leaves.
• Conduct Medical and Fitness for Duty Examinations.
• Schedule examinations and manage appointments.
• Maintain clinic supplies and workplace health measures.
• Perform injections, blood draws, and obtain vital signs.
• Conduct UDS and Breath Alcohol Testing.
• Conduct Audiometric and Pulmonary Function Testing.
• Perform Respirator Fit Testing.
• Collaborate with Medical Director on patient needs.
• Other duties as required.

The successful candidate will have a combination of critical care and occupational healthcare experience.II.
