Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a Flight Paramedic to join an specialized air transport team. You will provide advanced life support during patient transport to and from medical facilities, complete electronic records, and perform daily equipment checks to ensure safety.

Requirements include 3+ years in 911/CC settings, EMT-P license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications, and FP-C within 24 months. Preferred: instructor certs and NREMT-P depending on area.

Job description

We are seeking a Flight Paramedic to join a specialized air transportation team, focusing on the safe and efficient transport of patients to and from medical facilities and scene calls. The role involves providing advanced life support care, completing electronic patient care records, conducting daily equipment checks, and maintaining safety standards during flights.


Responsibilities include participating in pre-mission briefings, assisting with aircraft safety, and ensuring proper documentation and licensure are up to date. Candidates must have at least three years of experience in a 911 or critical care setting, hold a current EMT-P license, and possess required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C) is required within 24 months of hire. Preferred skills include instructor certifications and NREMT-P certification depending on the area. The role offers a starting pay rate based on experience, two 24-hour shifts weekly, and company-paid housing.
