The Transport Paramedic team at Conemaugh Health plays a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality advanced life support care during interfacility transport. As a representative of Conemaugh Health, our paramedics are responsible for providing exceptional patient care from departure through transfer to the receiving or post-acute care facility while ensuring a seamless patient experience.
Our team cares for patients across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatric populations, and practices within Pennsylvania Department of Health EMS guidelines while utilizing advanced clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Transport Paramedics maintain clinical competency, ensure equipment readiness, assist within the Emergency Department as appropriate, and serve as trusted clinical resources for patients, families, and healthcare teams.
We foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment where paramedics work closely with physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
