Job summary

CORE is seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our occupational medicine team in the El Mirage, AZ area. This full-time role includes evening and night shifts with a competitive compensation package and benefits.

The position requires EMT-P certification, prior 911/EMT experience, current CPR/AED, and strong communication with clients and healthcare teams. You will support a safety-focused worksite and collaborate with site personnel daily.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification (EMT-P) with proof of reciprocity.
• Previous EMT/Paramedic or 911 response experience preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
• Provide basic first aid and medical support per policy.
• Assess injuries/illnesses to prioritize procedures.
• Communicate with medical professionals for further action.
• Coordinate with site personnel on incidents and hazards.
• Maintain clinical standards and documentation.
• Support Site Safety Managers to maintain a safe work environment.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
• Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
• Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
• Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts
• Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
• Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
• Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely
• Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
• Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Paramedic (EMT-P) State Certification and/or National Registry; must provide proof of reciprocity
• Previous EMT/Paramedic experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience preferred
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
