Job summary

AMR is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time position. Hourly rates start at $21.50, with overtime and experience-dependent increases. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality basic and advanced patient care across emergency and relocation services.

The position requires state Paramedic licensure, a valid driver’s license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic). You will work with a team to assess calls, lead on-scene operations, and drive an ambulance on 911 responses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver's License is required.
• BLS, ACLS and NREMT-Paramedic certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action per Paramedic protocols.
• Operate medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Pilot the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation todeterminethe best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
