Job summary

CORE is seeking an experienced Paramedic (EMT-P) for the Conesville, OH area. This full-time role includes a competitive benefits package and a strong emphasis on safety and quality patient care.

Responsibilities include emergency response, on-site medical support, injury assessment, and clear documentation. The ideal candidate holds EMT-P certification, 911 experience is a plus, and excellent interpersonal skills to work with clients and site teams.

Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT‑P) state certification and/or National Registry; reciprocity proof required.
• Previous EMT/Paramedic or 1st response experience preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with client and employees.

Responsibilities

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly.
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with laws and company policy.
• Assessing injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures.
• Communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities for next steps.
• Communicating with client and site personnel about incidents and hazards.
• Maintaining quality clinical standards at all times.
• Documenting findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
• Maintaining a safe work environment in collaboration with Site Safety Managers.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
• Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
• Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
• Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
• Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
• Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts
• Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
• Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
• Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely
• Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
• Assisting the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Paramedic (EMT‑P) State Certification and/or National Registry; must provide proof of reciprocity
• Previous EMT/Paramedic experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience preferred
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
