Job summary

Clinton Hospital Authority is seeking a Paramedic to provide direct and indirect patient care in acute, skilled, and urgent care settings in Clinton, OK. The role requires clear communication with nursing and physician staff and the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition.

You will participate in CQI activities and perform general nursing duties under supervision, with emphasis on patient safety, documentation, and adherence to compliance policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Completion of an accredited paramedic program.
• 0-2 years' experience in an acute care setting preferred; not required.
• Successful passing of NREMT exam. BLS for the Healthcare Provider required. ACLS and PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Documentation of patient care and clinical findings.
• Assess and monitor respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
• Perform IV therapy/venipuncture and administer medications.
• Contribute to patient nutrition and care across systems.
• Follow legal/ethical guidelines and ensure patient confidentiality.

Job Summary

The Paramedic works under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. He/she provides direct and indirect patient care in acute care, skilled care, and/or urgent care setting. Communicates with the registered nurse and/or physician about changes in patient's condition, including clinical findings and diagnostic results. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment. Participates in performance improvement and clinical quality initiatives (CQI) activities. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all assigned departments with adequate supervision.

Compliance

Understand and comply with the requirements of the CRH Compliance Program, including, but not limited to the Code of Conduct, the Compliance Policy, all organization-wide policies for compliance, and compliance plans affecting specific duties and responsibilities. Participates in all education and training programs regarding compliance as required by CRH policy.
