Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.*$25.50 - $65,000.00**Position Highlights****You will be taking ambulance calls practicing critical care service transports and also working in the hospital emergency department.****Crew quarters are available for sleeping.****Schedule: 12 hour rotating days/nights from 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am. Work your primary 12 hour shift with call for the other 12 hour shift. Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Provides emergency medical treatment to sick or injured patients, under the direction and supervision of physician and leaders, in accordance with established standards of performance, philosophy and objectives. Documents and reports observations and treatments provided to physicians, nurses and other healthcare staff, in support of patient care activities. **What you will do** * Collects patient health data from patients, referring healthcare providers and patient charts.* Analyzes the collected data to assist in determining diagnoses and area of problem focus.* Identifies expected outcomes and goals, individualized to the patient, and develops a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcome.* Implements the interventions identified in the plan of care.* Performs required documentation and participates in quality control activities to support patient care.* Evaluates the patient’s progress toward attainment of the outcomes and utilizes establishes protocols for patient care.* Systemically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of practice.* Acquires and maintains current knowledge in practice, procedures, and care.* Collaborates with the patient, significant others, and health care providers to provide appropriate patient care.* Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, and cost in planning and delivering patient care in support of responsible, ethical and safe patient care and environments. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
