Job summary

Shoals Ambulance in Bessemer, AL is seeking Paramedics to join its 9-1-1 ALS team. You will provide advanced life support care on ALS and critical care transports, driving to and from pickup locations while delivering safe, patient-centered care.

This role offers new increased pay rates, vacation/holiday pay, health, dental, vision insurance, and tuition assistance for EMT and Paramedic training, plus ongoing continuing education within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• State of Alabama Driver’s License is required.
• Paramedic certification (State of Alabama or National Registry) required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• AHA ALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Functions as Paramedic on ALS and CCT Ambulances as directed.
• Safely operates vehicle to/from pick up and drop off locations.
• Provides ALS patient care and movement.
• Documents all transports completely per company SOP.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.

Schedule and Basing

Variety of 12-hr, and 24-hr day and night shifts 24/7/365.
