Job summary

DocGo is seeking a Paramedic in Bensalem, PA for full-time overnight and weekend shifts. Base pay ranges from $35 to $42.50 per hour, depending on experience.

The role offers sign-on bonuses ($20,000; $21,000 for veterans) for full-time, $10,000 for part-time, plus productivity bonuses, night differential, overtime opportunities, and referral bonuses. Medical/dental/vision, PTO, and 401k are provided. Weekly pay and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

  • Pennsylvania Paramedic License is required.
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean record (≥2 years).
  • CPR Card for Health Care Provider valid.
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs or more.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required.
  • EMSVO preferred.
  • Must obtain a command letter from previous command doctor.
  • Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Paramedics, EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.
  • Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock and shifts may vary.
  • Remain up to date with current standards of care, equipment and licenses.
  • Provide courteous, professional care to patients and coworkers.
  • Provide top-tier medical transport following policies and procedures.
  • Operate ambulance safely and in compliance with state/regional regulations.

Base Pay Rate Range: $35 - $42.50 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with your fellow Paramedics, EMTs and management to assure top tier patient care.

  • Be flexible as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock - your work shift schedule may vary due to the nature of the business.

  • Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses and registrations.

  • Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.

  • Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols.

  • Provide top tier medical transport to medical facilities by assuming responsibilities for medical care of the patient and carrying out established policies and procedures.

  • Operate and drive the ambulance in accordance with safety policies and laws, showing due regard for all applicable State and Regional Regulations (DMV & DOH)

  • Maintain rig cleanliness by stocking the rigs and taking ownership of your space.

  • Gather patient billing information and appropriate billing signatures.

  • Prepare and submit a pre-hospital patient care report.

  • Respond promptly to assignments as required by the Dispatch Center.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

  • Perform other duties as required/assigned.

Requirements:

  • Pennsylvania Paramedic License

  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record (must have had driver’s license for a minimum of 2 years)

  • Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider

  • Must be able to lift, push and pull 125 lbs or more

  • Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  • Valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

  • EMSVO (preferred)

  • Must be able to obtain a command letter from previous command doctor prior to orientation

  • Successfully complete Physical Aptitude Test
