PARALEGAL Workers’ Compensation Defense

Haight, Brown & Bonesteel LLP, a well-established civil defense litigation firm with offices throughout California, seeks a paralegal to join our Workers’ Compensation practice group. This position can be based in either our downtown Los Angeles or Irvine office. Please note, this position is 100% in-office.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Certificate of completion from a paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association;
• Experience as a paralegal at a law firm practicing workers' compensation in California;
• Strong understanding and knowledge of workers' compensation laws in California;
• Experience billing your time at a law firm;
• Experience scanning, coding, uploading, storing, and printing documents, as well as developing and implementing databases to manage, organize, sort, index, analyze, and summarize large volumes of data;
• Ability to handle files from inception to closure;
• Strong legal writing and research skills and a strong work ethic;
• Exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, in addition to a generous annual bonus for those who meet quarterly billable hour requirements.
