Job description

Haight, Brown & Bonesteel LLP, a well-established civil defense litigation firm with offices throughout California, seeks a paralegal to add to the team in our Workers’ Compensation practice group. This position can be in either our downtown Los Angeles or Irvine office. This position is 100% in office.

Requirements:
  1. Certificate of completion from a paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association;
  2. Experience as a paralegal at a law firm practicing worker's compensation in California;
  3. Strong understanding and knowledge of worker's compensation laws in California;
  4. Experience billing your time at a law firm;
  5. Experience scanning, coding, uploading, storing, and printing documents, as well as developing and implementing databases to manage, organize, sort, index, analyze, and summarize large volumes of data;
  6. Ability to handle files from inception to closure;
  7. Strong legal writing and research skills and a strong work ethic;
  8. Exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication, and organizational skills.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, in addition to a generous annual bonus for those who meet the quarterly billable hour requirements.
