PARALEGAL Workers' Compensation (Defense) - 100% in office / no remote

Haight, Brown & Bonesteel LLP, a well-established civil defense litigation firm with offices throughout California, is seeking a paralegal to join our Workers' Compensation practice group. This position is available in either our downtown Los Angeles or Irvine office and requires 100% in-office presence.

Requirements:
  • Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal program
  • Experience as a paralegal in a law firm practicing workers' compensation in California
  • Strong understanding of California workers' compensation laws
  • Experience billing time at a law firm
  • Proficiency in scanning, coding, uploading, storing, printing documents, and developing databases to manage large data volumes
  • Ability to handle files from inception to closure
  • Strong legal writing and research skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills

Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, plus a generous annual bonus for meeting quarterly billable hour requirements.
