Responsibilities

  • Preparing and filing probate petitions and supporting court documents.
  • Tracking estate and trust assets through detailed accountings (Microsoft Excel).
  • Serving as the main point of contact for clients and occasionally beneficiaries.
  • Communicating with third-party professionals, including financial institutions and court personnel.
  • Recording billable time daily and assisting with monthly billing reviews.
  • Coordinating the recording of real estate deeds.
  • Supporting general office operations.
  • Handling confidential client matters with professionalism and discretion.

Job description

Our client is seeking an Estate & Trust Administration Paralegal to support attorneys with the administration of estates and trusts from initial intake through final distribution. As a key member of our team, you’ll play an essential role in guiding clients through the complexities of estate and trust administration, with support from a highly collaborative legal team. This role is focused on case management and client communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with clients and professional advisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and filing probate petitions and supporting court documents
  • Tracking estate and trust assets through detailed accountings (Microsoft Excel)
  • Serving as the main point of contact for clients and occasionally beneficiaries
  • Communicating with third-party professionals, including financial institutions and court personnel
