Job Title: Paralegal – Subpoena Compliance (2–3 Month Remote Secondment)

The Opportunity:

Tenor Legal is partnering with a leading technology company to place experienced Paralegals on a short-term basis to assist with a backlog of civil and criminal subpoena and data requests. These secondees will support the company’s in-house legal department, helping ensure timely and accurate subpoena response in coordination with internal processes and stakeholders.

This project-based engagement is initially expected to last 2 to 3 months, with potential for extension depending on workflow. This is a fully remote position.

This opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with prior subpoena compliance experience who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the intake, tracking, and response of civil and criminal subpoenas and legal requests
  • Coordinate with internal teams to collect responsive documents and ensure timely production
  • Review requests for completeness and legal sufficiency, escalating when appropriate
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of all subpoenas and related communications
  • Support continuous improvements to subpoena response processes

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of paralegal experience, with direct exposure to subpoena compliance, litigation support, or law enforcement data requests
  • Experience in a fast-paced in-house legal department or law firm
  • Familiarity with legal hold protocols, data privacy standards, and document production practices
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and process-driven thinking
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to interface across teams
  • Start Date: ASAP (submissions reviewed on a rolling basis)
  • Duration: 2–3 months, with potential for extension
  • Location: Remote
  • Client: Confidential (leading technology company)
  • Salary: $100,000 – $115,000 annualized
