Qualifications

• Must be qualified as a paralegal through education, training, or work experience to perform substantive legal work.
• Proven highly developed paralegal experience in support of civil litigation attorneys.
• Skill at conducting extensive and complex legal research to analyze and verify citations.
• Skill at preparing complex legal instruments, exhibits, and discovery documents used in litigating cases.
• Skill at effective communication, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain current knowledge of changing statutes and regulatory guidance related to the duties.
• Must conduct oneself with professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support in civil litigation to AFMCLO attorneys and staff.
• Prepare written and oral legal reviews on complex questions of law and facts.
• Develop complex case files for civil litigation, ADR, and discovery.
• Participate in training for attorneys, paralegals, investigators, and contracting staff.
• Complete administrative duties as assigned by AFMCLO leadership.
• Travel may be required on military or commercial aircraft.
