Wyoming Office of the Attorney General is seeking a legal assistant/paralegal for the School Finance Litigation Division to support attorneys in defending Wyoming's K-12 funding system. Primary duties include research, drafting, case management, and discovery, with secondary support for Tort Litigation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, deadlines, and collaboration with state agencies and counsel. The position requires a Bachelor's in Paralegal/Legal Studies (or equivalent) and typically 0–2 years

Qualifications

Knowledge of legal concepts and procedures for litigation.
Ability to research and cite-check legal materials.
Familiarity with Wyoming statutes and agency processes.
Strong written and editing skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and background investigations as requested.
Prepare drafts for contracts, pleadings, motions, and court documents.
