Harvard Resource Solutions is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Secretary on a part-time, temporary basis for 6 months+ for our client in Farmington Hills.

25 - 30 hours per week

Hybrid Schedule: 2 days in office / 3 days remote

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to three claims teams within the department.
  • Record and maintain detailed information for over 300 settlements and lawsuits per month in Microsoft Access or Excel.
  • Accurately document settlement details for Medicare reporting using Excel.
  • Review, validate, and process invoices received from defense firms.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience.
  • Preferred experience in corporate legal and/or insurance industry settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level, especially Excel and Access.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with keen attention to detail and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a strong work ethic.
  • Capable of handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment with conflicting responsibilities.
