Job description

As a Paralegal III, you will perform paralegal duties under the supervision of the Paralegal Manager and attorneys in specific practice areas. Your responsibilities will include reviewing, negotiating, and processing research contracts such as confidentiality agreements, material transfer agreements, data use agreements, collaboration agreements, supply chain and vendor agreements, purchase agreements, and service agreements. We are looking for someone with contract or intellectual property experience.

This position is remote in Ohio, Florida, or Nevada, working from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

A successful candidate will:

  • Review and analyze legal documents; draft routine legal documents.
  • Compile information, prepare summaries, statistics, charts, and graphs.
  • Interact professionally with internal and external entities, including government agencies, witnesses, corporations, and law firms.
  • Perform legal, factual, and legislative research.
  • Organize and maintain departmental databases.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree or completion of an accredited paralegal program.
  • Understanding of legal processes and familiarity with legal terms in specific areas of law.
  • 10 years of legal assistant or paralegal experience in a law firm, healthcare system, or corporate legal department.

Preferred qualifications include experience in contract review and negotiation, along with strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Physical requirements include the ability to work stationary for extended periods, travel within the hospital system, operate office equipment, and communicate effectively.

All caregivers must follow safety protocols, including standard precautions and personal protective equipment usage.
