The Legal Aid Society in Bronx County is seeking Paralegal I to provide client services in the trial office. Coverage is required in Bronx County, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

The Criminal Defense Practice of the Legal Aid Society has two openings for Paralegal I in its Bronx County office to provide client services. Criminal Defense Practice is the primary public defender in New York City, providing holistic, client-centered representation to over 200,000 people facing misdemeanor, felony, and homicide charges. The Paralegal will provide coverage in the Bronx trial office, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

The salary range represents a good faith estimate of the range we expect to pay for this role. The actual salary offered may vary depending on many factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as collectively bargained salary steps for unionized roles.
Salary Range: $57,090 - $87,619

The Legal Aid Society is a qualified employer for the purposes of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
