Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced bilingual (English/Spanish) paralegal with a strong background in family-based immigration law to join us as an independent contractor basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle preparation and filing of family-based immigration forms including but not limited to: I-130, I-485, I-601A, I-131, N-400, I-90, I-765 (EAD), and Asylum packages
  • Review supporting documents and coordinate follow-up with clients as needed
  • Track deadlines and ensure accurate submission of forms and documentation
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal assistants on strategy and case status updates
  • Maintain case notes and ensure data integrity in firm’s case management system
Qualifications
  • Bilingual Required: English and Spanish
  • Minimum 3 years of family-based immigration experience
  • Knowledge of USCIS processes and common RFEs
  • Familiarity with immigration form software (e.g., Docketwise, Mycase, or similar)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Professional, reliable, and capable of working independently
Contract Details

Type of Contract: Independent Contractor (1099)

Duration: Approximately 3-5 months, with potential to extend

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00PM

Location: Hollywood, FL

Compensation: Hourly
