Qualifications

• Prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, legal secretary, or in a law firm is preferred, but not required.
• Family law or litigation experience is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Professional greet clients and visitors.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and relay messages.
• Schedule appointments and assist with client communications.
• Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Assist attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, and other litigation support.
• Enter billable time into the firm's timekeeping software; use Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and the firm's case management software.
