Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a capable paralegal to join a California plaintiff-side employment law firm in a hybrid role. The position supports attorneys through all stages of complex employment litigation and class actions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CA litigation experience, strong knowledge of wage/hour and class actions, and proficiency with CA e-filing and TOA/TOC preparation. Excellent organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

3+ years of California litigation paralegal experience.
Experience in plaintiff-side employment wage/hour and class actions.
Proficient in TOA/TOC preparation.
Extensive CA state and federal e-filing experience.
Strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys through all phases of complex employment litigation and class action matters.
Prepare, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
Prepare Tables of Authorities (TOA) and Tables of Contents (TOC) for court filings.
File legal documents electronically in California state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with all court rules and deadlines.
Manage litigation calendars, court deadlines, and case files.
Coordinate and organize large document productions and discovery.
Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
Assist with deposition preparation, exhibit organization, and trial preparation, including trial binders.
Maintain accurate case management records and communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
Prioritize multiple deadlines while managing a high-volume caseload.
