Qualifications

• ABA-approved paralegal certification or associate degree in paralegal studies preferred.
• Experience in collections, creditors’ rights, or other legal work is a plus.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook; WordPerfect is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize legal documents, including discovery pleadings and settlement agreements.
• Assist with discovery responses, compile exhibits, support trial or hearing preparation.
• Compile and organize exhibits for trials or hearings.
• Assist attorneys with e-filing and maintaining records in the document management system.
• Track deadlines and monitor case progress; manage discovery schedules.
• Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
