The Early Intervention Program analyzes events and information to identify members at risk of poor performance or adverse outcomes. It involves conferring with commanding officers, designing remedial plans, coordinating with health and wellness sections, and managing the Early Intervention Committee.
We seek 2 qualified Paralegal Aide IIs to locate, assemble, organize, and monitor data related to the department, including issues like Stop, Question, and Frisk, Racial Profiling Complaints, and disciplinary proceedings. Responsibilities include reviewing background information, performing legal research, drafting communications, and analyzing data patterns and trends.

Experience must involve the American Legal System; incidental or secretarial legal work is not acceptable.
Individuals need an additional year of paralegal experience or a baccalaureate degree to qualify for Level II duties and pay.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, research, and writing skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets and databases.
Eligible candidates can apply under the 55-a program. Also, federal and state loan forgiveness programs may be available.
City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment, with exceptions for certain city employees.
