We’re hiring an experienced Florida criminal defense paralegal who can assist our attorneys in reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing discovery and police videos, drafting and filing motions, notices, and other legal documents, conducting legal research, and helping clients prepare for pretrial conferences. Applicants should be experienced, highly organized Florida criminal law paralegals with a record of strong performance. Applicants can work remotely from anywhere in America, but must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 5:30 EST. Our firm specializes in helping good people, and we want to help as many people as we can. We want a talented paralegal who can assist our attorneys in this mission. Responsibilities
  • Review prosecution discovery and identify key issues
  • Review police videos, identify key issues, and summarize them for attorneys
  • Counsel clients and answer questions about the process and their cases
  • Perform legal research and summarize your findings in a written memo or email
  • Draft subpoenas and coordinate service of process through law enforcement agencies or process servers
Qualifications
  • Multiple years in working on the defense side of Florida criminal law and procedure
