Job description

Our client, a well-known and highly regarded Hedge Fund in Midtown, NY, is looking to add a Paralegal to their team. The role involves providing legal and regulatory support, reviewing investor non‑disclosure agreements, assisting in the negotiation and preparation of trading documents, including closing and direction letters, and collecting AML and KYC information from new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for an asset manager or law firm focused on the securities law space, vast knowledge of traded securities regulations, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Negotiation and coordination of various trade documentation
• Gathering and maintaining all legal documentation from clients
• Drafting transactional letters including closing documents, credit facility draw requests, and AML/KYC information requests.
