About Dapple
Dapple is the Enterprise OS Cloud, a new category of AI infrastructure between the public cloud and the private data center. We give regulated enterprises and high-growth digital natives dedicated, in-country, single-tenant capacity to run production AI, extending the cloud ecosystems they already use rather than asking them to leave. We are an early-stage, venture-backed company moving quickly.
About the role
We are looking for a senior paralegal / legal operations professional to serve as the operational backbone of a small, fast-scaling legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will own entity and corporate records management, build the systems and workflows that let a lean legal function support rapid growth and act as a trusted cross-functional partner to the business. This is a high-autonomy, builder role: you will be as comfortable closing a filing deadline as designing the process that prevents the next one from becoming a fire drill.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with compliance, entity management, legal operations and related company business responsibilities.
- Domestic and international entity management including managing corporate records, organizing and updating corporate books, records and filings, and ensuring compliance with corporate formalities and regulations; assist with board management and appropriate documentation
- Implement technology solutions to reduce friction and enhance speed to market
- Develop and implement workflows to streamline operations
- Performing legal due diligence including assisting with KYC, audit and other diligence requests
- Assisting with legal review workflows, signature processes, and document execution
- Owning day-to-day contract intake and triage
- Managing outside counsel invoices, budgets and engagement documentation
- Helping implement and scale legal operations systems, templates, contract management and knowledge management tools
- Supporting litigation and disputes as needed — administering litigation holds, subpoena and third-party demand responses, e-discovery coordination and document collection with outside counsel, and the company-wide records retention program
- Preparing briefing materials, action lists and executive follow‑up
- Tracking high‑priority cross‑functional initiatives and ensuring accountability across stakeholders
- Building legal department reporting — matter intake volumes, cycle times, outside counsel spend against budget, and other metrics used to justify headcount and tooling investment
- Supporting privacy and data‑protection compliance, including records of processing, vendor data assessments, and responses to data subject and customer security requests
- Coordinating corporate insurance renewals and certificates of insurance, and managing claims as needed — reporting incidents to carriers, tracking claims through resolution, and coordinating with brokers
- Supporting business licensing, permits, and jurisdictional registrations required for new sites and market entry
- Creating self‑service resources — playbooks, templates, and training — that let other teams move without waiting on legal

- Expertise with corporate record‑keeping, including legal entity and contract management
- Track record in implementing new technology solutions such as contract management systems

- Comfort using AI‑assisted tools for drafting, review, and knowledge management, with sound judgment about when human review is required
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional team members
- Experience supporting litigation and disputes as needed, including litigation holds, discovery coordination, and working with outside counsel
- Familiarity with corporate insurance programs and claims administration, including incident reporting and carrier and broker coordination
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards
- Ability to work across time zones as needed
- Willingness to travel occasionally for board meetings, closings, or site visits
Preferred experience
