Job summary

Maune Raichle Hartley French & Mudd, LLC in Tampa, FL seeks a litigation paralegal to support attorneys and their teams in all phases of litigation from filing through trial. This on-site role requires energy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

You will draft pleadings, prepare discovery, coordinate depositions, track client files, and perform legal research. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently

Qualifications

• Experience supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation.
• Draft pleadings and other legal documents as needed.
• File and serve summonses and complaints; coordinate service with vendors.
• Prepare discovery requests and responses for production.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions and related logistics.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, correspondence, authorizations, interrogatories, transmittal letters, and other legal documents.
• File summonses and complaints, and work with vendors to effectuate service.

• Track and monitor client files, calendars, and provide status updates.
• Perform extensive internal and on-line legal research (court rules and procedures).
• Assist with trial preparation, including trial binders, exhibits, coordinate with experts, opposing counsel, and court staff.

What we’re looking for: Our Tampa, Florida office is seeking to hire a litigation paralegal to support attorneys and their teams by performing client meetings, legal drafting, and other relevant legal activities in preparation for trials. We are looking for energetic, driven, detail-oriented people for this on-site position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation from onset through trial;
