Job summary

Tampa Personal Injury Law Firm is seeking a dedicated Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in a fast-paced, in-office environment. You will handle client communications, draft and organize pleadings and discovery, and manage medical records to support case strategies.

The role focuses on trial preparation, e-filing, and meeting tight deadlines while maintaining organized case files. This is a full-time position with room for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal injury litigation (plaintiff side) is required.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and strict deadlines.
• Experience with trial preparation and court appearances.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent client communication, provide updates, and gather information.
• Draft, prepare, and organize legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
• Gather medical records and assist with treatment plans.
• Prepare attorneys for meetings, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial.
• E-file documents and manage deadlines with all relevant parties, including JAs.
• Maintain organized and updated case files.

A prestigious Personal Injury Law Firm in Tampa is hiring a Plaintiff Litigation Paralegal to join their growing team.

Tasks:

• Maintain excellent client communication to provide updates and gather information
• Draft, prepare, and organize legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery, responses, interrogatories, demands, etc.
• Gather medical records, bills, and assist with treatment plans
• Prep Attorneys for meetings, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial
• E-file
• Manage deadlines and scheduling with all relevant parties, including the JA's
• Maintain organized and updated case files

Experience:

• Previous personal injury litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff side, is required
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and heavy deadlines
• Experience with trial and court appearance prep
• Understanding of medical records, medical terminology, and billing.
• A desire to grow in plaintiff litigation
