Job summary

Merlin Law Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a skilled Paralegal with over 6 years of litigation experience. Your responsibilities will include acting as a liaison among parties, maintaining case materials, and preparing legal documents.

Position Overview:

Merlin Law Group PLLC. is seeking a Paralegal with 6+ years of litigation experience in our Tampa, FL office.

What You’ll Do:

• Act as liaison among all parties including courts and other neutral parties.
• Review, organize, and maintain case materials.
• Perform case-related research.
• Draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, interrogatories/answers, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate the collection, review and production of documents and discovery requests.
• Assist in deposition preparation, pre‑trial investigations, trial preparation, including assistance with preparation of witnesses for deposition and/or trial.
• Assist with trial preparation including preparation of exhibits, witness binders and other demonstrative evidence for use at trial and court hearings.
• Calendaring and scheduling depositions, hearings, mediations and other meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies (preferred)
• 6+ years of relevant experience as a paralegal with a focus on litigation
• Experience and knowledge of State and Federal court system and filings
• First Party Property Insurance (a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, document management and client management software systems
• Organized & detail‑oriented
