Our company is a leader in their industry, committed to operational excellence, environmental stewardship, and the long-term economic growth of Arizona. Our Legal team plays an essential role in ensuring compliance, managing risk, and supporting operations across multiple business units.

You will be part of a supportive, collaborative, and high-integrity environment where legal professionals can contribute, grow, and build meaningful careers.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct legal research to support filings, investigations, regulatory matters, and litigation preparation.
  • Review statutes, administrative regulations, and legal journals to support attorneys with case strategy.
  • Investigate facts, gather records, and prepare summaries for attorney review.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents including subpoenas, complaints, motions, responses, and pretrial materials under attorney supervision.
  • Prepare correspondence, legal memoranda, and supporting documents for hearings, meetings, and filings.
  • Work with internal teams (HR, Safety, Operations, Medical, Procurement) to gather documentation and information needed for legal matters.
  • Support attorneys during interviews, hearings, depositions, and internal meetings by taking organized notes and tracking follow-up items.
  • Assist new or junior attorneys with understanding internal workflows and document preparation procedures.
  • Maintain case files, document repositories, and legal libraries, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support digital recordkeeping and organization of legacy documents.
  • Handle sensitive information with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
Qualifications

  • Preferred (but not required) Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize tasks.
  • Comfort working with confidential information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic understanding of legal terminology, processes, and procedures (or a willingness to learn quickly).
