Palladino, Isbell & Casazza (PIC Law) is a Philadelphia-based immigration law firm seeking a Paralegal for its federal litigation team. You will help prepare filings, manage deadlines, and coordinate with government offices while supporting attorneys in diverse immigration matters.

The position offers in-person work with potential for hybrid or remote arrangements, and requires a minimum of one year of paralegal experience, strong writing and research skills, and proficiency with PACER/ECF

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a paralegal or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with federal filings and immigration-related procedures is a plus.
• Strong organizational and deadline-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist federal litigation team with filing of complaints and petitions in U.S. District Courts & Circuit Courts.
• Organize, analyze, and manage court deadlines and filings.
• Communicate with U.S. Attorney’s Office and DOJ attorneys.
• Manage caseload from intake through processing and filing.
• Maintain status reports and deadlines to keep cases on track.
• Review and proofread documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide administrative support to ensure team smooth operations.

About You

You are a self-directed, service-focused, team-player who brings at least a year of experience in a similar role and you have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Paralegal experience required, preferably in federal litigation
• Familiarity with PACER/ECF filing systems is a plus
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize, manage, and execute multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

About The Job

Paralegals play a key role in assisting our attorneys, performing tasks like preparing immigration filings, research, and legal writing, while our attorneys are responsible for representing clients in court, and signing applications and filings. We are seeking a Paralegal to join our federal litigation team to assist in a wide range of immigration cases, including but not limited to:

• Assisting federal litigation team with filing of complaints and petitions, service, motions, in federal court (U.S. District Courts & Circuit Courts)
• Organizing, analyzing, and managing Court Deadlines and filings
• Communicating directly with U.S. Attorney’s Office and DOJ Attorneys
• Managing the caseload from intake through processing and filing
• Keeping cases on track by updating status reports and managing deadlines
• Reviewing and proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Providing critical administrative support that keeps our team running smoothly
