Job summary

Lewis Brisbois' Miami, FL office is seeking a paralegal with litigation experience in general liability. The role involves supporting a team of at least four attorneys with calendaring, document management, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate; certificate may be region/client dependent.
• At least three (3) years of litigation work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong Excel required.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to flexible hours.
• Annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours.

Overview

The Miami, FL office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a paralegal with litigation experience in general liability. The primary duties of this position include working for a minimum of (4) attorneys, calendaring, document management including but not limited to review, creation, and organization. In addition, compiling information for discovery responses, interrogatories, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation are essential functions of this role.

• Job Specifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate. A certificate may be required based on region, state, or client requirements.
• At least three (3) years of litigation work experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

• Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
